Dear Buffalo Canoe Club Members,

A cordial welcome to our members from the BCC Board of Directors. We are ready to serve you in this 2010 season. We have planned a great season for you and your framily, and have included a list of scheduled activities at the Club in this publication.

Under the direction of our BCC Commodore, Jack Mathias, the BCC office staff has prepared and finalized this 2010 Membership Roster. All items of information were thoroughly checked but we ask you to please check your information, and notify us if any changes need to be made (name, births, addresses, email, etc. ) It is important that we have your current address, telephone information, and especially your email address so that we can send you weekly email blasts to keep you up to date on what is happening at your Club!

Included in this roster are the House and Ground Rules along with the calendar of events for the 2010 season. Please take the time to read them. The House and Ground Rules are for your protection so that every member and guest may enjoy the club to the fullest. Please note that graffiti is absolutely forbidden in the outer boat house, and storage of inner tubes in the outer boathouse is forbidden. They may be stored in the upper floor of the inner boat house. Both of these rules have been put in place in an effort to keep our Outer Boathouse beautiful and clutter free for the many activities that are scheduled there.

As a reminder, food and alcohol on the beach is strictly prohibited. To prevent injuries and for the safety of all, no glass containers are permitted outside the clubhouse. To help keep our clubhouse clean, please use the outside faucet to remove beach sand before entering the clubhouse or snack bar.

There are many opportunities to get involved and meet people at your club. In addition to supporting club functions, committee opportunities include the House, Entertainment, Sports, Regatta, Buildings, Membership, Future Planning, Boat, Annual Burgee, Finance and Junior Activities committees.

Please bring your positive suggestions to the Board of Directors, at any time. We have a wonderful staff that works diligently to provide members with the excellent service that we all expect and enjoy. They look forward to seeing you; we look forward to hearing from you. We are there to serve you!
