What are the kids thinking:
Today was s very eventful day, and was alot of fun. On of my favourite parts of today was the morning. As racing is not until 1 (2 at home) we can sleep in until 10, it's awsome. For breakfast we all had eggs... Again. Except for joys team who somehow got scrumptious pancakes. We all arrived at the club at roughly the same time and proceeded to rig our boats. At around 11 30 the fleet pushed off the dock and went downwind to the start line. The first race was alot of fun. It was blowing around 11 and there were large shifts. At the first mark, the canoe club had 1st and 3rd,  which became 1,2 at the bottom mark. The large left shifts came into play and our team fell to 2nd. Joy who was in 2nd fell way back, but Connor meagan moved up. On the last leeward mark we fouled an ecuadorian and had to do a 720 putting us back to 6 th. Connor meagan finished 5th, joy 8 th and Connor g 13th. The next race took a long time to start as 4 boats including us broke down in the increased wind. The race finnally started at around 4 30 and was a complete opposite of the first race. Connor godfrey and joy were launched early, but joy dropped back. Connor Godfrey was a mile ahead and rounded every mark first, without a spin pole  and a busted main block. Connor m ended up 4th, we pulled back to 9th and joy finished 11th. We arrived back at the club at around 6:30 and quickly derigged and ran back to the hotel to change and get ready for our big night of karreoke! we got back at the yacht club at around 7 and had a delicious dinner and some fun Spanish kareokke! It was a blast and a great time. We are having alot of fun and all of the canoe club boats are in contention to win, so keep your fingers crossed!  Adam, Danny, Sam
