O'PEN BIC: Starting June 28, 2010
**Must supply your own o'pen bic boat**
Qualified White Sail Levels will be given out for this class.
Class Time: Monday to Friday: 9:00 - 4:00, meet on the side lawn under the tent.
Cost: see below, plus regatta costs.
Classes will be as follows:
Jun 28 - July 9: Ending with an O'pen Bic regatta, location tba, $295.00 this class has 4 spots remaining
July 12 - July 23: Ending with the BCC O'pen Bic regatta, $295.00 this class has 2 spots remaining
July 26 - Aug 13: Ending with Ottawa Regatta, $442.50 this class has 8 spots remaining
Aug 16 - Aug 20: Cork Week, $147.50, plus costs. this class has 8 spots remaining
What are the sailors going to learn?
Sailors in this program will sail on the O’pen Bic boats which they are to provide. Emphasis is to prepare the sailors for the end of session regattas, from novice to advanced sailors. Learn how to: boat handle; rig; sail; tack; gybe; points of sail.
