In Adventure Camp, campers are introduced to cooperative games, with an emphasis on teamwork. Adventure Camp activities are geared toward older children aged 9+. When inclement weather keeps us indoors, we have indoor games and activities to keep our campers busy.
Our goal is to offer a variety of fun and exciting theme weeks targeted towards are older campers.
In addition, the following special activities are offered weekly: beach excursions, swimming, and water activities such as tubing. (Please note all special activities are subject to change based on weather, equipment availability and enrollment and are not guaranteed).

Summer 2023, Adventure Camp Themes
Week 1: Kick off the Summer!
Summer break has arrived! Campers and Coaches will kick off the start of summer break with an exciting week filled with water activities and interactive games.
Week 2: Pirates of Lake Erie
Ahoy Matey’s! It’s pirate week! Time to get your “Arrrr” on! Campers and Coaches will “set sail” metaphorically this week on a pirate adventure; from extreme treasure hunting, pirate crafting and interactive games.
Week 3: Travel Through the Decades
Get ready to head back in time to the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. This week Campers and Coaches will explore the different decades through activities like decorating records, making lava lamps and tie dye!
Week 4: Olympics
Who doesn't love a little friendly competition and of course medals?! This week Campers and Coaches will break into teams, create a flag, pick an anthem, participate in various games and activities to earn points throughout the week.
Week 5: Hawaiian Luau
Grab your leis and funky Hawaiian shirts and join us for a fun filled week of partying at our Hawaiian Luau! This week Campers and Coaches will get the chance to make their own leis, Craft some palm trees and participate in a beach relay race!
Week 6: Space
Time to shoot for the stars as we head into space week! Campers and Coaches will participate in a variety of space crafts and activities including crafting rockets, making moon sand and space bracelets!
Weekly 7: Game Shows
Come on down! This week Campers and Coaches will embrace the spot light through trying out various game shows such as Jeopardy, Shark Tank, Price is Right, Dancing with the Stars, etc. Individuals and teams can win points throughout the week.
Week 8: Around the World
Join us as we experience different cultural activities! Campers and Coaches will participate in a variety of different cultural activities, crafts and games the different cultures.
Week 9: STEM
‘Let’s have a moment of science!’ This week is designed to encourage discussions and problem-solving among Campers, developing both practical skills and appreciation for collaborations. Campers and Coaches will take on a variety of science experiments, problem-solving tasks, and other games and activities.
